Salute A Soldier 5K run or 1 Mile Walk

The mission of AZ Heroes to Hometowns Salute A Soldier 5K and 1 Mile Walk is to honor and  assist with the needs of injured military service members and their families with financial, spiritual, emotional, and social support as they return to their communities. This is a 5K run and 1 Mile walk to be held at Freestone Park in Gilbert AZ. Awards will be given to first place male and female finishers in age catagories for the 5K only. An event for all ages. Last minute registration will be available starting at 8:00 AM on the morning of the race.The event will start promptly at 9:00AM with the National Anthem, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, and a short prayer. The walk will begin right after the prayer with the 5K at 9:20 AM.  Please run/walk with us and support our wounded military men and women for their service to our country.
