 GLOBAL ENERGY RACE IS BACK!

Bimbo Bakeries is proud to host its 5th annual Global Energy Race! On Sunday, September 22nd, 35 cities and 23 countries will join together to set families and individuals of the world, in motion. Phoenix returns for the fourth year in a row as one of five U.S. cities participating in this global race. Phoenix Municipal Stadium will once again host the world's race and festivities!

About Global Energy Race

Global Energy Race is for everyone: competitive runners, casual walkers, families, friends, and everyday joggers looking to come out and participate in Bimbo's healthy, active lifestyle initiative. It is truly a global event; In 2016, Global Energy Race broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the most 10K races held simultaneously worldwide on the same day!

Bimbo Bakeries is also proud to partner with local area food banks during September (Hunger Awareness Month). For every kilometer completed by participants, 2 slices of bread will be donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank to support the local Phoenix community. Every step helps feed someone in need.
