| Notes | Tri for the Cure AZ is back! Join us March 15, 2020 and race for a great cause. Tri for the Cure AZ raises money to fight breast cancer, as well as raising funds for local community charities. Tri 4 the Cure has something for everyone with both Super Sprint and Sprint distance triathlons, aqua-bike and duathlon for individuals, triathlon relays and a 5km run. Our goal is to create a race day environment that is fun for everyone. Grab your friends and family, sign up today! Event details and scheduleSATURDAY, MARCH 14 Packet pick up TBD *Photo ID and USAT card required for pick up for Tri/Du/Aquabike. USAT card not required for 5k. Athletes doing the Tri, Du or Aquabike must pick up their own packet. You can have someone pick up your 5k packet. SUNDAY, MARCH 15 6:00 a.m. Packet and timing chip pick up at The Anthem Community Center 7:15 a.m. Opening remarks 7:30 a.m. Athlete meeting 7:40 a.m. National Anthem 7:45 a.m. Start for athletes that anticipate taking over 2 hours to complete event - INDIVIDUAL SPRINT TRIATHLON ONLY 8:00 a.m. Men’s sprint triathlon and sprint aquabike swim start 8:05 a.m. 5km Run Start 8:15 a.m. Sprint and super-sprint duathlon start 8:25 a.m. Sprint relay start 8:30 a.m. Sprint triathlon survivor start 8:35 a.m. Women’s sprint triathlon and sprint aquabike swim start 9:00 a.m. ALL super sprint triathlon, aquabike and relay swim start |
